Prairie Wolf, Old Man Coyote, Song Dog… soon to be gone, faded out into the past, into only our memory. Or is its heart without end—extinction with a smirk, snickering at the poison and the traps—remaining against the onslaught, the mad march of time? Heat rising from the cities, warming the carrion ideas that fill its belly, the Prairie Wolf curling up beside us, Old Man Coyote dancing across our progress, and the sweet secure Song Dog serenading itself into us forever.

Time and the Coyote is a head-to-head, asymmetric game that pits the trickster Coyote, against the progress of Time. Time lays out its cards, attempting to discover and contaminate Places of Power as the Coyote uses its dreams and cunning to protect the Places of Power. At the end of the game, the entity that controls the most Places of Power wins.
